Topics to be covered include restoration of several large yachts, among them the 1901 126-foot Cangarda, the last of the American-built Edwardian era steam yachts, and the 1903 106-foot houseboat La Duchesse, which has plied the waters of the St. Lawrence River for over 100 years. The restoration in Ireland of the Peggy Bawn, an 1894 36-foot G.L. Watson design currently setting new standards in the international classic yacht racing circuit, and a description of the approaches to maintaining the Dark Harbor 20 one-design racing fleet of Ilesboro, Maine, are included among papers covering a range of topics pertaining to smaller, historically significant craft.
